Time to use that Sniffer

The Sport was inspired by working detection dogs,  This Sport is a great way to build confidence and focus. The best part of this sport is all dogs and humans can do this! 

We  build their confidence with getting your dog excited about using his  nose to seek out a favorite toy or treat reward hidden in one of several  boxes, expanding the game to entire rooms and exterior areas. As your dog grows more confident with his nose, target odors  are introduced. They will learn how to search containers, interiors, exteriors, buried, and vehicles. We train for all competition venues such as AKC, NACSW, UKC, CPE.  

Cost - $240 for a 6 week class. Maximum of 6 dogs in each class. One dog is out at a time. Dogs must be able to crate quietly while waiting for their turn.

A 6 week class where we use their favorite food or toy to teach them to find it. 

A 6 week class where they will be introduce to Birch/Anise/Clove. 

Dogs must be on odor. They will be learning to find odor in containers, interiors, exteriors, buried, and vehicles.  

This class takes place at different locations every week. This is the only class we offer as a drop in. Dogs must be on all odors and be comfortable working outside. 

Handler discrimination is an akc sport where the dog must find the handlers odor vs the judges odor.
